2400 Robinwood, built in 1905, was designed by Mills, Rhinehart & Bellman.  The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Robert Mifford as the resident of this home, employin Sophie Pastor as the family domestic,  The 1921 directory listed Willard Acklin whose biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 177.  His wife was Marjory (Stewart) Acklin.  The Reverand John Phelan also lived here in 1921.
