2744 Parkwood, built by contractor Nathaniel Heffelbower, was home to Joseph Lane of Geer & Lane by 1912.   Mr. Lane was a lawyer and his biography can be found in the book Toledo and Lucas County Volume 3 on page 221.  His second wife was Cora (Louden) Lane.  The 1911 Polk City Directory did not list this address.
