636 Stratford Place was built by the Wiltsie Realty Company in 1912 for $4,800.  The 1913, 1918, 1921 and 1924 directories listed Martin Dodd of Averill & Dodd as the resident of this home.  Mr.  Dodd became the assistant directory of law by 1924.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 633 and Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 4 on page 259.  His image appeared in the group photograph entitled "Bar and Bench Toledo Ohio 1926."  His wife was Isabell Dodd.
