21 Bronson Place-George Chapman Home

The 1907 through 1924 Polk city directories listed physician George Chapman as the resident of 21 Bronson Place off Cherry Street.  Dr. Chapman's office was located at 549 Nicholas Building.  His wife was Mary Chapman.  The 1910 Census revealed that his mother-in-law Martha Cochran lived here as well as England-born servant Frank White and Michigan-born mulatto servant Mary Huff. Thank you Steve Avery of Bronson Place for the identification of this previously unknown location.
