The Charles Fox Realty Company advertised "Beautiful Birckhead Place" in the April 11, 1908 edition of the Toledo News Bee.  Lots were valued anywhere from $25 to $50 per foot front.  Further it was noted that all the streets were paved with the best guaranteed material, concrete sidewalks were laid, artificial gas, water mains and sewer were in place.
