The home at 2484 Scottwood appeared in the 1907 city directory as the home of Fred Jenney, an engineer; Eva Jenney, a stenographer; and Cora Jenney, a teacher. By 1918 the occupant was John Cowell, the secretary of the Ames-Bonner Co. and by 1921 Leon Netzorg who owned a coal company lived here.
