Designed by the architectural firm of Bacon & Huber and constructed in 1904 at the cost of $4,000, this was the home of lawyer Isaac Huntsberger.  The 1910 city directory listed Joseph Steinem as the resident of 2238 Scottwood.  Mr. Steinen was in real estate with his office located at 205-07 St. Clair.  Hattie Oberski was his domestic at that time.
