Both the 1918 and the 1921 Polk city directories listed Paul Miller as the resident of 2858 Scottwood Avenue.  Mr. Miller was the assistant division engineer with the Pennsylvania Railroad.  In the 1918 directory Elizabeth Miller was listed as a student who roomed in the home.
