The 1918 Polk City Directory listed Cora Van Arsdale, the widow of Anson Van Arsdale, as the resident of 2854 Scottwood.  Blanche Van Arsdale, a stenographer, roomed here.  Dwight Wolfe, the president and manager of the Akron Tire Company, was the occupant according to the 1921 directory.
