2501 Scottwood was home in 1910 to Edward Flatau, the manager of the Wachter Shoe Company.  Jennie Koscinski was the live-in domestic in 1910.  The 1918 directory listed Robert Robertson, the president and treasurer of the Royal Varnish Company, as the occapant while the 1921 directory listed George Covert of the Covert Brothers.
