2305 Scottwood
 
2305 Scottwood was constructed around 1895 with the architecural plans being drawn by the firm of Mills, Rheinhart & Bellman.  The 1900 Polk City Directory listed Albert Cutter, the treasurer of the National Milling Company, as the resident.  By the time of the 1910 diectory, Charles Rothchild lived in this mansion employing Selma Kreft as his live-in domestic.  The 1921 directory listed Mrs. Mary Nearing as the occupant.
