2447 Scottwood was built in 1916 and was home to J. Jacobson, a physician.   The 1921 Polk City Directory listed Charles Burge, the president of the S. W. Flower Company whose biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 81.  His wife was Leonora (Barks) Burge.  The live-in maid in 1921 was Anna Bartelheim.  The 1941 directory listed Joseph McDuffee, the vice-president of the Electric Auto-Lite Company.  McDuffee's wife was Della Scott McDuffee.
