2445 Scottwood was the 1907-built residence of Badger Bowen, the president of the Welles-Bowen Company, and his wife Anna (Connor).  Mr. Bowen's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 480.  Mrs. Connor was the secretary-treasurer of the Toledo League of the Hard of Hearing according to the 1921 Pok City Directory.  Two sons were Badger Croswell II and William Dougherty Bowen.
