2563 Scottwood was home to Charles Grandy in 1910.  Mr, Grandy was the president of the Grandy Coal & Coke Company.  The 1918 Polk City Directory reveals that the residents were William and Mary (White) Malone and their children.  Daughters Helen and Elizabeth were both teachers.  Mr. Malone was secretary of the Martin Brothers Company and the Horter Candy Company.  His biography can be read in Toledo and Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 692.
