J. Herman Barnes lived at 2485 Robinwood in 1910.  Mr. Barnes was the general inspector of the Water Works Department.  The 1918 and the 1921 city directories listed Charles Harther, the president of the Central States Coal Company, as the occupant at this home.  The 1910 directory also listed boarder Helen Barnes.
