2304 Robinwood

Dwight Peterson lived at 2304 Robinwood, a 13-room Colonial house designed by A. B. Sturgis, sometime after its construction in 1902.  The 1910and 1911 Polk city directories listed Mr. Peterson as selling wholesale lumber.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 362.  His wife was Minnie (McGlone) Peterson.  Edwin Rosenthal, the president of the Toledo Home Furnishings Company, was the resident in 1912 and 1918, while Arthur Johnson was listed as the occupant in the 1921 city directory.  Mr. Johnson was the president and general manager of the Johnson Coal Company.
