Homer Metzger, the treasurer of the Metzger Seed & Oil Comapny was the resident of 2730 Parkwood in 1910.  That same year Grace Swigeert was the family's live-in maid. The  Albert Beesch family lived at 2730 Parkwood Avenue in later years.  This photograph is from the Jack Taylor Collection and dated from circa 1917.  The 1935 city directory listed Augustus Richardson as the resident.  He was the secretary and treasurer of the Conklin Pen Company.  His biography may be read in Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol 4 on page 589.
