The 2491 Parkwood address did not appear in the 1912 Polk City Directory.  The 1918 and 1921 city directories listed William Witker as the resident at 2491 Parkwood.  Mr. Witker's occupation was a bookkeeper with the No-Leak Roofing & Paint Company in 1918, while in 1921 he had become the president and secretary of that company.  The 1918 directory also listed Heman Witker, a machinist with the Liberty Highway Company, as a roomer in this home.
