2485 Parkwood
 
2485 Parkwood was home to Samuel Stricklin, a special agent for the C U Tel Company, according to the 1910 and 1911 Polk city directories.   Charles Brigham, a travel agent (salesman) lived here along with Norman Brigham, a student, who boarded here in 1910.  Harry Cowdin, a travel agent (salesman) also lived here in 1911.  The property was vacant in 1912. The 1918 directory listed King Baer, a salesman, while the 1921 directory listed Joseph Schoen, also a salesman.  The other unit was home to Samuel Gazzolo in 1918, while Harry Melvin, a traveling agent, lived here in 1921.
