2237 Parkwood
 
The 1896, 1900, 1910 and 1911 Polk City Directory listed John Lamson of the Lamson Brothers, a dry goods store, as the resident of 2237 Parkwood.  The 1910 directory also listed Harold Lamson, a salesman at Bostwick-Braun Company, and student Charles Lamson as boarders.   In 1900 Kate Foxhuber was the domestic along with Jessie Mock, while Emma Lauman served the family in 1910.  The 1912 directory listed Rupert Holland and John Holland as residents.  Rupert Holland's occupation in 1912 was lissted as a lawyer while there was no occupation listed for John Holland that year.
