The 1896 Polk City Directory lsited C. Edgar Lamson of the Lamson Brothers as the resident of this home, as did the 1900 and the 1910 directories.  His occupation in 1910 was the secretary and treasurer of the Lamson Brothers Company located at 347 Summit.  Lena Goebelt (1896), Louis Ekert (1900) and Clara Kemper (1910) served the family as live-in domestics.  Walter Brand was the occupant listed in the 1921 city directory.  Mr. Brand was a physician.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 653 and Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 3 on page 602
