2510 Parkwood
 
The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Sherwood Pinkerton, the vice-president of the Pinkerton Tobacco Company, as the resident of 2510 Parkwood.  His live-in domestic that year was Nellie Godley.  The 1918 and the 1921 city directories listed Joseph Mather as the occupant of this house.  Mr. Mather was the secretary and treasurer of the Toledo Dairy Company.  His biography and personal photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 92.  His wife was Nathalie (Wiendahl) Mather.   In 1921 their daughter Marie Aylesworth, the widow of Warren Aylesworth, lived here also along with Joseph Mather Jr., a student.
