2427 Parkwood first appeared in the 1912 Polk City Directory.  The 1912, 1918 and the 1921 city directories listed S. Lloyd McAfee as the resident of 2427 Parkwood.  Mr. McAfee was the manager of the Northwestern Ohio office of the Union Central Life Insurance Company.  Mr. McAfee's biography and personal photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 592.
