The Lucas County Auditor's records listed 1895 as the construction year for 529 Virginia.  Morris Rosenberg, the president of the Ohio Knitting Mill Company located at 625 Cherry, was the resident of 529 Virginia, according to the 1910 Polk City Directory.  The family's live-in domestic was Mamie Dohr.  Aimee Rosenberg was listed as a boarder in 1910.   Harris Rosenberg was the occupant listed in the 1918 city directory, while Mrs. Lucretia Alford was listed in the 1921 directory as the occupant of this home.
