The Wiltsie Realty Company built 633 Stratford Place in 1912 for the cost of $4,500.  The first owner of record in 1913 was Edward Barry. Mr. Barry became the department manager at the Libbey Glass Manufacturing Company.  William Hoffmann and his wife Grace Hoffmann lived here in 1924.  Mr. Hoffmann was with the Christ, Hoffmannn & Ayling Company which was in electrical construction and sold electrical supplies from their business at 1940 Putnam.  The 1935 directory lsited Raymond King, a physician and surgeon, whose biography and personal photgraph appeared on page 592 of Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 4.   His wife was Nadine King.
