The April 15, 1911 edition of the Toledo New Bee posted an advertisement for the sale of 531 Collins Street by the Fox Realty Company.   The buyer could own the residence for $250 down and $ 40 per month on the balance.  The eight-room house had hardwood floors, electric lights and a hot air furnace.
