531 Collins was home to William Cameron, an engineer, in 1910 and 1911.  His live-in domestic was Margaret Kesker.  Mrs. Emily Gordon, the widow of Captain William Gordon, lived here in 1912.  The 1918, 1921 and 1924 city directories listed Ferdinand Heyer as the occupant of this home.  Dr. Heyer was an osteopathis physician with his office located in the Ohio Building.  His wife was Gertrude Heyer and his daughter's name was Alberta Heyer, who was a student in 1924.
