625 Acklin was built in 1907 according to the Lucas County Auditor's Office records.  Frederick Mussehl, a gardener, lived at 623 Acklin in 1910.  In 1918 Carl Altholz, a manager, lived at the same address.  The 1918, 1921 and 1924 city directories listed Frederick Musshel and his wife Fredericka "Ricka", both born in Germany, at 625 Acklin while Alice Sturdivant, the widow of Frederick Sturdivant lived at 523 Acklin.  The 1920 Census listed Mr. and Mrs. Mussehl's children as Frederick, 22, and Helen Mussehl, 18.  Both children still lived at home.
