Aldis Ozolins captured this view from his front porch roof at 2491 Glenwood Avenue in January 1958.  You are looking toward the northeast side of Glenwood at Delaware.  2491 was the home of the Jesse Dewey family according to the 1900 Polk City Directory.  His wife Adeline (McMartin) Dewey passed away December 9, 1900.  The family's live-in domestic that year was Valeria Maciejewska.  Mr. Dewey's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 301. Later, he moved to 3357 Collingwood.
