The March 20, 1909 edition of the Toledo News Bee posted an advertisement by carpenter and contractor Nathaniel Elmer Heffelbower for the sale of 2720 Glenwood Avenue for the consideration of $4,500.  "Buy direct from the owner and builder.'  It was described as a four bedroom home with a large basement and attic, oak finish and double doors.  The ad noted that the street was paved.
