The 1910 city directory listed the resident of 2601 Glenwood as Allen Emerson who later moved across Islington.  In 1910 he was the secretary of the S. M. Jones Company.  William Bettridge, the president and general manager of the Lakeside Biscuit Company, lived here in 1918 and 1924.  Mr. Bettridge's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 311.  Lucy Bettridge was his wife.  The 1924 directory listed Elizabeth Bettridege as his wife with Bessie Bettridge, Elmer Bettridge and Emily Bettridge as roomers.
