2317 Glenwood appeared in the 1900 Polk City Directory as the home to a live-in domestic by the name of Anna Zimmer.  The family for whom she worked is unknown to us.  By 1910, physician William Dickey lived at this location.  His family employed Elsie Swank as the live-in domestic.  His name also appeared in the 1921 directory at this home.
