2643 Glenwood was built on lot 4 of Upton & Miller's Robinwood Addition in 1907.  The lot was first owned by Frederic Ringeisen of 2643 Scottwood.  In August of 1909 the house passed into the hands of Carl and Josephine Happ.  Information courtesy of Debbie Martin.  The 1910 Polk City Directory tells us that Mr. Happ was a traveling agent for Gottfried Happ which sold hides.  Carl and Josephine remained at this house according to the 1924 directory.  He continued to work for G. Happ & Son.
