Built in 1907 on lot 13 Upton & Miller's Robinwood Addition, 2640 Glenwood was home to William and Sarah Klein.  Mr. Klein was a carpenter who lived still lived here according to the 1911 city directory.  Stacey McNary, a teller with the First Naional Bank, lived here in 1912.   By May 1914 the house was sold to William Patterson of 2382 Vermont who ran a grocery at 924 Delaware.  William Werntz and his wife Lillian lived here by 1924.  Mr. Werntz was the secretary of the Austin Machinery Corporation.  Mildred Werntz, a public school teacher, roomed here that same year.  Research provided courtesy of Debbie Martin.
