The Aiduss Model triple-insulated Kelvin home, located at 2237 Cheltenham Road is "an example of modern engineering applied to a medium size residence and was selected by the Toledo News-Bee as its first 'home of the year', " according to an open house ad run in the September 18, 1937 issue of the Toledo News-Bee.  35,000 visitors walked through this house during its 8-day inspection by the public who came to see modern construction techniques.  It was the first of its kind in Toledo and featured year-round air conditioning.
