Ed Shinaver provided us with this 1888 or 1889 photograph of his great-grandparents' home.  John Ankenbrandt, a carpenter, and his wife Helena (Stahl) lived at 501 Avondale near Collingwood.  Ed's great-aunt Blanche Ankenbrandt can be sitting on one post while one of her brothers, Jesse or Matt, can be seen on the other.
