11 Bronson Place

Situated on lots 10 and 11, the home at 11 Bronson Place was the residence of Thomas Bentley according to the 1907, 1910, 1912, 1918 and 1924 Polk city directories.  Mr. Bentley was the president of the A. Bentley & Sons Company.  His wife was Katherine (Lewis) Bentley.  The 1924 directory listed student James Bentley II and Anderton Lewis Bentley, a superintendent with A. Bentley & Sons, as roomers in the home.  By the time the 1928 Toledo Social Register was published, the Bentleys had moved to "Woodgate" on Dixie Highway in Perrysburg.
