After the death of Dr. James Donnelly, his splendid Jefferson Avenue home was offered for sale by the I H Detwiler Company for the consideration of $10,000.  It was to be sold complete with its furnishings.  The advertisement stated that the doctor had spent up to $15,000 on its construction with the very best materials.
