Paul and Nancy Myers donated this view of their home at 2487 Scottwood Avenue.  It was built in 1905 for the Edward Shawaker family and was one of the few brick homes in the growing west end of Toledo at that time.  Mr. Shawaker was in the wholesale leather and shoe store supplies business.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 121.   In 1900 the Mr. Shawaker and his wife Louise (Schmidt) employed Anna Rebhuhn as a live-in domestic.
