The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Lewis Barger as the resident of 2612 Scottwood.  The 1911, 1918 and the 1921 city directories listed Robert Cornelius, the president of the U. S. Mop Company.  Mr. Cornelius' biography may be read in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 419.  His wife was Wealthy Cornelius and their daughter was Clarice.  In 1915 Mr. Cornelius awarded a contract to architect H L Stebbins for the design and construction of a speculation home to be built in Colonial Court.
