The 2602 Scottwood address did not appear in the 1911 Polk City Directory.  When this address did appear for the first time in the 1912 directory, it was home to Harrison Blevins, the president and general manager of the Blevins Auto Sales Company located at 1101-03 Madison.  Both the 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories listed George Lutz as the resident at 2602 Scottwood.  Mr. Lutz was the treasurer and general manager of the Toledo Saxon Company.  In October of 1956 the home was purchased by Bruce Elmore remaining in his family until 1982.
