2425 Scottwood was home in 1910 to Elmer Davis, a lawyer whose biography appeared in two publications.  You may read one in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 459 and the other along with a photograph of Mr. Davis in Memoirs of Lucas County and the City of Toledo on page 175.  His wife was Grace (Richards) Davis.
