2048 Scottwood
 
2048 Scottwood was home to John Manning, who was the managerr of the National Mallealbe Castings Company in 1910.  The home was built around 1904.  The architectural firm of Mills, Rhinehart & Bellman designed the new front steps and veranda (#1610) in 1910 and the garage plans (#1473) were realized in 1908.   Another  alteration (#2268) was made to the house in 1917.  The live-in domestic according to the 1910 city directory was Catherine Conners.  Widow Katherine Manning continued to occupy the mansion according to both the 1918 and 1921 city directories.
