City records show that permit number 983 was granted to Nathaniel E. Heffelbauer (spelled wrongly) on November 19, 1908 for the erection of a home on lot 33 of Collingwood Addition on land plotted by the Collingwood Land & Improvement Company in 1906.   Mr. Heffelbower, a contractor, was the owner and builder of 2716 Scottwood in 1909 for a cost of $5400. Mr. Heffelbower place ads in the Toledo Blade on April 17, 1909 and again on October 22, 1910 to sell the house. Records show he became the resident in 1910.   Research courtesy of Douglas Forsyth.
