2495 Robinwood was home to Ferdinand Machen according to the 1910, 1918 and 1921 city directories.  Mr. Machen had been an insurance agent in 1910 but by 1921 his occupation was listed as a salesman for the Acme Coal & Builders' Supply Company.  Edwin Machen who boarded here moved to 711 West Delaware. Edwin was the vice-president and secretary of the Arkenberg-Machen Company.  The 1910 and 1918 directory listed Katherine Machen, a clerk with the Toledo, St. Louis &  W Railroad, and Lauretta Machen as roomers.
