The 1910 Polk City Directory listed William Campbell, an attorney-at-law, as the resident at 2544 Robinwood.  Mr. Campbell's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 11.  His wife was Mertie (Laird) Campbell.  In 1910 his son Claude Campbell boarded here and became subject of his own biography in the same volume but on page 67.  By the time of the publication of the 1921 directory, William Ayers was the occupant of this home.
