2323 Robinwood was built around 1897.  The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Dr. Charles Smith, a surgeon whose office was at 234 Michigan, as the resident of this home.  He previously had lived at 2309 Robinwood.  His name also appeared here in the 1918 city directory.  Elizabeth Koester was employed by Dr. Smith as the live-in domestic in 1910.  The 1921 directory listed Leroy Kramer.
