2320 Robinwood (once 2318 Robinwood) was home to Walter Gifford according to the 1900 Polk City Directory.  Mr. Gifford was the assistant general manager for the National Cement & Rubber Manufacturing Company that year.  Ralph Burkhalter appeared in the 1910, 1918 and 1921 city directories as living here.  Mr. Burkhalter was the assistant secretary and treasurer of the Northwest Ohio Natural Gas Company.  The 1897-built home's address seems to have been changed around 1919 with the completion of the duplex at 2316-18 Robinwood.
