2716 Robinwood was constructed on lot 51 Collingwood Addition by contractor Nathaniel Heffelbower in 1910.  The 1910 Polk City Directory listed both travel agent (salesman) Samuel Levy (also in the 1911 directory) and lawyer Lionel Levy as the residents, while the 1911 and 1918 directory listed Charles Lee, manufacturer of Lee's Metal Preserver and general manager of the Toledo Metal Painting Company.  The 1921 directory listed Thomas Owens.
