2348 Robinwood

Has time stood still?  This 1937 photograph shows 2348 Robinwood looking much as it does in 2011.  Built in 1902, this house was the residence of George Sneider's family according to the 1910 Polk City Directory. Mr. Sneider was the vice-president and secretary of the Metzger Seed & Oil Company.  The July 29, 1932 issue of the Toledo News-Bee reported the death from pneumonia of Mrs. George Sneider at her home at 2348 Robinwood. She was survived by her husband and two adult duaghters.  By the early 1920s, it became home to Lyle Snell, an engineer.
